Lee Hao's students' choir

Worked with my injured knee and jelly legs. Diarrhea again. Did my best to endure throughout. I have lots of thoughts for this event.

I took another bus to work instead of the usual bus that I took. The bus went pass the Marina Promenade too. I miss the Marina Promenade.

Met some weird patrons. Many of them were from China. Deduced that from their accent while they spoke. While we were taking a moment to think what answers we should give in reply to their questions, they repeated their questions in English. I felt like rolling my eyes as I am not a "banana".

It was a so called "sad" event. Vocalists wore white top and black bottom. Guess the colour of their accessories, bright colours. I saw red, and some white and shiny hair clips. Attending the event for the sake of attending?

I do not know whether I made a right choice to work that day. I did not enjoy the event. But I enjoyed chatting with a colleague. Took the same bus as him while going home. Since I have to transit no matter what bus that I take, I chose to take the same bus as him. Hope that I can have such nice chats some time soon.

My favourite perfume

Personally, I am rather sensitive to "smells". I can feel like I am short of breath when the smell is too unpleasant, especially the smoke of cigarettes. I cannot really stand strong smelling perfume too, especially those artificial perfume.

I prefer perfume that are made from natural ingredients and does not smell too strong. Currently I like a type of perfume that smells like apple. Nice! Too bad that I can't afford it. The name of the brand is so sophisticated that I can't managed to remember. I believe it is from some European country. Hope that I can afford it someday.

I am currently using a brandless perfume when I go to work so as to "block" my body odour. Do not really like it but I have no choice. Hope that I can find one that is suitable to my nose and is affordable soon.

NYP Wushu Commissioning 2009

Guessed it correctly that it was the commissioning. It was a simple event where Guangyao coach read out the selected people for the posts. It was done after training and all of us stinks with sweat.

Shifu came to witness the event. All main posts revealed got to take a picture with him. Took a picture with Shifu and Kenny. It was my first picture taken with Shifu. Memorable.

I have gotton a post in the committe. Lots of thoughts in my mind. There was fear in me too. I am glad that I have friends who will be helping me along. Thank you people.

Went home rather late due to the briefing. I hope that this new committee will write a fabulous story for the one year till the next commissioning. Congratulations people!

Formula One Grand Prix 2009

This is the second year that Singapore is hosting the night race. I can say that I am more "involved" in this year's race.

This was the first time for me to be stuck in the traffic jam due to the night race. This was due to the road of the bus that I have to take to work. The duration of road closure was reduced as compared to last year.

Good part was that I get to see more. A lot of people were deployed to help in the traffic. Diversion of the bus routes sure caused many problems for many. Saw a few red vechicles with big black words "special operations command" parked at different locations. Security sure is very tight. I would say that they had done a great job.

Reaching my workplace, I can hear the zooming of the formula one cars. Cool. First time hearing the sound "live". How I wish I can see them live in action. That would be really cool.

While the National Day Parade shows were going on, the barriers and gallery seats for the race were being slowly set up. I had once stepped on the tracks where the formula one cars ran that night.

Watched the live telecast but wasn't really interested. Seeing them going round and round made me feels bored. Guess I am more interested in knowing the winner. The sight of the pit area and the flyer brought back my NDP memories. Seeing the Marina Promenade, I realised that my memories are more of the pit area and the flyer as I spent more time there. I miss the flyer.

I wonder why the skies wasn't that bright this year as compared to last year's. Maybe different lightings were used I guess. I do not have much comments for this year's facilities. Heard that the system wasn't very good for the performance by the singers, especially when it was Asian singers that were performing.

Dad supported Button while I supported Hamilton. Pitied Hamilton for losing due to cheats used by the Champion last year. Saw the statistics of them in the magazine a classmate showed me a few days ago. Hamilton won seven races out of the fourty-seven that he had raced. Cool. His statistics was way better than Button's. Anyway, from the interviews, I can see that Hamilton is "burning with fire", full of confidence to win this race.

In any case, I would like to congratulate everybody for their effort in making this race a great success.
