Free Cone Day 2008!!

Yeah!! I finally got to taste Ben & Jerry's ice cream! Woohoo~

I chose to go to the outlet at Raffles City. The queue was quite long but the wait isn't very long. Haha. I didn't take note of the timing though. Think it took me about 30 minutes to get my ice cream. Haha. There are 5 flavours available; chocolate chip cookie dough, chocolate fudge brownie, new york super fudge chunk, strawberry cheesecake and funky monkey.

After seeing the description available at the outlet, I decided to have the new york super fudge chunk. There are dark and white chocolates with some nuts in the chocolate ice cream. Yummy!! =D

I enjoyed this sweet treat a lot and believe that those who got their cone have also enjoyed themselves. =)

Sudoku

Playing games do not just provide one with entertainment but also at the same time relax teh brain. This would especially be applied to mind games. Sudoku is a rather challenging game that can helps to exercise your brain.

Different difficulty levels of sudoku are available. It can be found in books, newspaper and also the internet. This game is really interesting and it really squeeze your brain juices.

Besides from the term 'Sudoku', there are many other version of this type of mind games. Instead of placing number 1 to 9 into 81 boxes, the word 'Singapore' can also be used. I have once seen a game which number 1 to 8 must be placed into the 64 boxes. Another challenging one though. Basically, the numbers placed in the boxes must not repeat vertically, horizontally and within the seaprating box grid.

Since there is no harm to try on a good puzzle, why not get started on one today to get your brain working? Enjoy! =)

Chicken Noodles with Oyster Sauce

I have seen this dish sold at several locations but I have only tried this once at the Ang Mo Kio hub's food court. Quite good tasting though. The only one problem is that... it's too little!

Look at the picture, isn't it mouth drooling?

It would be nice if the meat given is the part near the drumstick rather than the chicken breast. Till now, whenever I buy chicken rice, I am always given the chicken breast. I wonder when I can get the more tasty parts...

Anyway, for the dish to be tasty, the oyster sauce cannot be too salty or too concentrated. This has to be so in order for the taste of the chicken to mix well with the noodles, the vegetables and the sauce.
